Sumit Meena is an Industrial Designer, Educator, and Innovator who thrives at the intersection of design, technology, and human experience. With expertise in product, lifestyle, and furniture design, as well as architectural visualization, he has consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity by integrating AI, AR, VR, and robotics into both his professional practice and teaching. As an Assistant Professor of Product Design, Sumit has redefined design education by introducing AI-driven workflows, digital fabrication techniques, and hands-on, industry-relevant learning experiences. His students don’t just learn theory—they create, prototype, and solve real-world problems, preparing them for the fast-evolving design landscape. Beyond academia, Sumit is the Founder & Director of Vulcan Design Studio, where he pioneers computational and parametric design to develop innovative furniture, lighting, and architectural installations. His work has been recognized for blending cutting-edge technology with craftsmanship, creating solutions that are both functional and forward-thinking. With a career spanning global collaborations, research, and exhibitions at prestigious design events like Milan Design Week and Dutch Design Week, Sumit is committed to pushing the boundaries of design while mentoring the next generation of creative thinkers.
