Biography

Dr. Salma Khan is achemistry educator and researcher specializing in physical chemistry, with particular interests in conducting polymers and sensors. She holds a B.Sc. (Honours) in Chemistry (2007) and an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry (2009), both from the University of Delhi. In December 2008, she qualified the UGC-NET (Lectureship). Dr. Khan began joined Gargi in July 2012. Dr. Khan’s teaching repertoire includes courses such as Electrochemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics, Chemical Kinetics, Quantum Chemistry, Spectroscopy & Photochemistry, Phase & Ionic Equilibria, and related topics. Her research output includes publications such as “Polyaniline Nanocomposites with Doped Ferrites as an Electromagnetic Shield” (International Journal of Development Research, 2014) and “A Concise Assessment of Electrochemically Synthesized Polypyrrole Amperometric Biosensor” (Journal of Applicable Chemistry, 2014).
