Biography

Dr. Uttara Dutta is an accomplished academic and researcher with over twenty-nine years of teaching and research experience in Chemistry. She obtained her B.Sc. (Honours) from Utkal University (1981), M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from University of Delhi (1983), and Ph.D. from University of Delhi (1987) on Synthesis of Some New Heterocyclic Compounds as Potential Antifungal and Antibacterial Agents. Her research interests lie in heterocyclic chemistry and synthesis of bioactive compounds including thiazole and pyrazole derivatives with antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
