Biography

Dr. Niyati Singh is a chemist and educator with over two decades of experience in teaching and research. She holds an M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from Dr. H. S. Gour University, Sagar (1998), and completed her Ph.D. on โ€œBio-Electrochemical Studies of Some Selective Hematological Agentsโ€ at the same university (2005โ€“2009). She qualified CSIR-UGC NET (July 2001) in Chemical Sciences for lectureship. Since October 2015, she has served as Assistant Professor at Gargi College, teaching courses in Inorganic, Physical, and Analytical Chemistry at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research specialization is in electroanalytical and instrumentation methods, with applications in clinical and pathological chemistry. She has 4ยฝ years of research experience working with modern electro-analytical instrumentation. Her notable publications include studies on the polarographic behavior of human plasma thrombin and electrochemical assays of heparin in cardiovascular patients. She actively participates in national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, and contributes to institutional development through administrative roles such as Student Union Advisor, Convener of chemical societies, and member of various committees. Dr. Singh is also a life member of the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) and regularly engages in faculty development and training programs focused on integrating digital pedagogy and interdisciplinary learning.
